Albany Asset Management Ltd (the company) was formed in 1998 by the managing Director, Mr Alex Keenan. Our office is based in Glasgow City centre close to George Square and within easy walking distance from both Queen Street and Central train stations and yards from the Glasgow Underground system.
Albany Asset Management are independent insurance intermediaries and independent financial advisers, and are registered and regulated by the Financial Services Authority (FSA) under the registration number 189 624. We are a leading intermediary in the field of childcare insurance and currently arrange cover for over 2000 organisations within the childcare sector.
Our private nursery insurance package is underwritten by AIG UK Ltd a member company of AIG Inc., one of the largest insurance organisations in the world. AIG Companies have offices in major cities throughout Europe including 11 in the UK. Our other main partner for providing childcare insurance policies is Ansvar Insurance Company who are regarded as an ethical general insurance company specialising in insuring non profit organisations and connected indivuals, an ideal insurance provider for our playgroups, out of school care centres, mother and toddler groups and charitable day centre organisations.
As well as childcare insurance, we are also commercial insurance brokers. We can arrange cover for your commercial business including Motor Trade Risks, Property owners, shop insurance and pub insurance to name a few.
